Top Rank for Tamil nadu in Suicide Count Last Year
National Crimes Record Bureau recently releases the Accidental Deaths and Suicides of India 2012 report.
In this report, Tamil Nadu ranks top in Suicides. The state has accounted 12.5% with total number of 16,927 Suicides in last year. The State has a rate of 24.9 per One Lakh Population.
Puducherry ranks first in this slot with a rate of 36.8 Suicides per One Lakh Population.
The Suicide rate got declined by 0.1% in last year, but Tamil Nadu got an alarming increase of 6%.
