Plans afoot to increase the coronavirus test camps in the Chennai Metro City!

The Greater Chennai Corporation (GCC) has decided to increase the number of coronavirus testing Centres in Chennai Metro City.
With the resurgent raging spread of the coronavirus pandemic, increasing the number of coronavirus test centres is one of the various activities are undertaken by GCC to check/prevent the spread!
It is sad to note that the resurgent spread of the coronavirus pandemic is at lightning speed! It is also alarming to note that the impact/extent of the resurgent spread is much more furious than the 1st wave! The intensity of the spread has crossed a peak throughout the country!
In the State of Tamil Nadu, 3986 citizens have been confirmed with coronavirus infection on a single day!
Again, on a single day yesterday alone (Wednesday, 7th April), 1459 citizens have been confirmed with coronavirus infection by GCC in the Chennai Metro City.
With this raging resurgence, preventive activities have been undertaken on a war footing by the Greater Chennai Corporation!
Accordingly, the number of special coronavirus camps has been increased in all the 200 wards in Chennai Metro City.
