Now, TN gets an additional 1.5 lakhs of COVID vaccination doses

The state health department has confirmed that on Tuesday, the state of TN vaccinated 105, 157 people and out of that 38,351 people were above the age of 60, 36, 365 persons from 45 to 59 age with co-morbid issues, 18776 frontline workers and 11665 heath care workers etc on Tuesday.
It was later pointed out by Dr. K. Vinay Kumar, JD (Immunisation), Directorate Public Health that TN received an additional 1.52 lakhs of Covid vaccines. He added that by the first week of April month, another 10lakh doses of Covishield is expected. The health secretary Mr. Radhakrishnan made his presence felt at Thiruvanmiyur roadside eateries and asked people to wear masks etc.
