Feeling negative is very common and negativity can happen to anyone in this world. It is true that there are times when we wake up in the morning and feel low about nothing also. A person with negative thoughts would feel scared and anxious. Both mental as well as physical health of us would get affected by negative thoughts or feelings. Being positive in life is always very important though it is easier said than it is followed by us.

Various ways by which our health would get affected by negative thoughts are we would have an increase in BP, feel emotionally weak, risk of heart diseases, leads to anxiety and depression, increase blood sugar levels etc.

By these superb ways we could deal with the negative thoughts.

By concentrating on strengths:
It is said that even if you feel a little bit of negativity around yourself then it is important to focus on the positives/strengths. The negative feelings would go away when we begin focussing on the positive or strengths.

By feeling grateful:
We could get positivity when we start feeling grateful about what we have. Happy hormones are generated if we feel grateful. It is important to write down those things for which we are grateful in life. Truth is that every time we read this we would feel happy and feel positive.

By not comparing:
It is common in life to compare us with others and feel dissatisfied. We must avoid this. We must feel happy for what we have and feel satisfied. Comparing us with others or judging ourselves would release a lot of negativity.   

By doing meditation:
If we have a bad day, then meditation would make us feel calm and relaxed. Fact is that meditation would release the negative energy and would make us feel light. We would be free from anxiety and depression issues.

By not forcing to eliminate negative thoughts:
It is believed that by forcing ourselves to eliminate the negative thoughts we would become more anxious and restless. So, never do this. We must give our mind some time to process the thoughts and must learn to accept the feeling.
