More suburban trains on Sundays in Chennai

Beginning from 10th of January, Southern Railways or SR would be operating more workmen special trains in Chennai on Sundays and on national holidays. Point is that there would be a total of 410 services. Till now, just 50 services are being operated on Sundays and this was after the suburban train services resumed its operations in Chennai.
It must be noted that there would be 47 suburban train services on Chennai Central-Arakkonam section, 66 services on Chennai Central-Gummidipoondi section, 136 services on Chennai Beach- Chengalpet Section and 52 services on Chennai Beach-Velachery section. Operated by Indian Railways, Chennai suburban railways is a commuter rail system is well known to us.
