Due to the prevailing raging spread of the coronavirus pandemic, all schools have remained closed since end-March!
Subsequently, online cases are being conducted and are in progress.
Meanwhile, due to the spread of the raging coronavirus, the public examinations for the students of the 10th Standard and the annual examinations for the students of the 11th Standard were cancelled for the last academic year 2019-20.
The State Government of Tamil Nadu announced that the students are declared as passed based on the performance in the previous examinations.
With the situation still grim on the coronavirus front with a new version of the coronavirus spreading in countries and detected in India as well, the State Government of Tami Nadu is yet to decide on conducting the Public Examinations for the 10th, 11th, & 12th Standard students for the current academic year 2020-21.
Meanwhile, as regards the CBSE schools, the Public Examinations for the last academic year 2019-20 for the 10th & 12th Standards were postponed. Later, all these Public Examinations were cancelled and marks were allotted based on the internal assessment scores.
In this scenario, The Central Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal had announced that the CBSE Public Examinations for the 10th & 12th Standards are scheduled to be conducted from 4th May to 10th June.
The Central Education Minister has also informed that the results would be released on 15th July.
