State Chief Secretary (Health) - 46000 centres set up for coronavirus vaccination!

The Chief Secretary of the Department of Heath of the State Government of Tamil Nadu, Radhakrishnan, has informed that 21000 nurses from 46000 centres throughout Tamil Nadu are being trained to administer the coronavirus vaccine.
The Chief Secretary of the Health Department f the State Government of Tami Nadu had a session with the press reporters yesterday (Friday, 25th December) and informed that .the details of the 38000 citizens who had arrived from foreign countries have been collected.
He informed that the above 38000 citizens are under house-monitoring. He mentioned that just like those coming from England, the persons arriving from South Africa are also being monitored.
He told that during the 1st Phase, 5 lakhs Health Department Staff and field staff will be administered with the coronavirus vaccine.
The Chief Health Secretary further informed that so far, 5 persons who had arrived from Britain have been confirmed with coronavirus infection and the samples have sent for testing whether the virus belongs to the recent new genre.
He appealed to the public not to panic and be cautious and stringently follow the preventive guidelines against the spread of the raging coronavirus pandemic.
Meanwhile, the Director of the Department of Health and Disease Prevention Medicine has appealed to the persons who had come back from Britain to Tamil Nadu during the period from 25th November to 23rd December to get tested for coronavirus infection.
