Pongal gift items with Rs. 2500 - tokens to be distributed from today (26th Dec)!

The tokens to receive the special Pongal gift along with a cash of Rs. 2500 are being distributed from house-to-house from today (Saturday, 26th December).
The ration shop staff has been advised that 100 Pongal gift items including the cash must be distributed for 100 card-holders in the forenoon session and another 100 ration card-holders in the afternoon session, making for a total of 200 card-holders t receive the Pongal gift items every day. The staff must also note the date and time of distribution for each card-holder.
The staff has been strictly advised to distribute the tokens house-to-house from today (Saturday, 26th December) to 30th December.
Further, the staff has been advised to give priority to the senior citizens and differently-abled persons.
Arrangements have been made to distribute the Pongal gift items for those left-out card-holders on 13th January!
