Courtallam Season begins

Rain which was experienced at Courtallam Falls has marked the beginning of the ‘Courtallam Season’, much to the delight of tourists in the area. Intermittent drizzling in the western ghats have contributed to the swelling of the Falls, making it even more beautiful than usual.
The rain also contributed to the swelling of Five Falls, Old Falls, Tiger Falls and the Main Falls. The lovely weather saw a throng of people visit the area on Sunday. Vendors and traders who transact business at the spots expect good income in the coming week. Special buses by the Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation from Tenkasi and Courtallam to Old Falls and Five Falls will begin to ply this week.
