In a notification in the regard released by the Railways, it is mentioned;
“All the regular express and suburban trains which were operated prior to the lockdown imposition are now being cancelled till a further announcement regarding this. However, the 230 additional special taints operated will continue.
In Mumbai, as requested by the State Government of Maharashtra, to enable the essential workers to travel to their workplace and back, suburban trains are being operated on a lesser frequency. These will continue to operate as well.
The patronization of the public for the special trains is being monitored continuously, In case required, additional trains will be operated.”
