Lifting the lockdown restrictions fully in TN

The latest news now is the Madurai chapter of the TN Chamber of Commerce and Industry has demanded the TN state government to completely lift the ongoing lock down restrictions that has been implemented for Coronavirus infection pandemic. It had stressed upon the need to take positive steps to revive and resurrect the heavily affected trade and commerce industrial activities in TN.
The chamber has appreciated recommending the traditional systems of medicine lie Ayurveda, Homeopathy and Siddha for improving the immunity of the people. This was mentioned in a memorandum to the CM of TN, Mr. E. Palaniswami.
The memorandum further stated that it has resulted in the reduction in the number of people affected by Coronavirus infection and also witnessed an increase in the recovery rate.
The people in TN have been strictly following the SOP or standard operating procedures like wearing face masks, maintaining social distancing etc. This has been after being sensitised on the ill effects of Covid-19 infection.
The Madurai chapter of the TN Chamber of Commerce and Industry mentioned that it would be enough if the TN government concentrated on the awareness initiatives and took strict action on those who violate the procedures.
Mr. Jegatheesan, the president of the chamber, urged the TN government to completely lift the lockdown immediately or atleast from 15th August. He then mentioned about the scrapping of the compulsory e-pass requirement for the movement of the vehicles between the districts in TN. In recent times, guidelines have been issued by the centre regarding e-pass is known.
