Another Siddha Hospital in Chennai Metro City for corona treatment!

Greater Chennai Corporation has been initiating various measures to prevent the spreading of the raging coronavirus pandemic as ordered by the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, E. Palaniswamy.

As emphasised by the Tamil Nadu State Home Minister S. P. Velumani, the arrangement is being made and test centres have been set up for house-to-house checking and treating them after testing and analysis.

As the number of patients has been increasing in large quantities over the last few weeks, the number of care centres has also been increased. At the same time, as per the orders of the state Home Minister, the coronavirus patients are also being intensively treated under traditional Siddha Medical treatment

It may be noted that the corona-infected patients in the 400-beds facility Siddha Hospital in Saligramam recovered quickly. Subsequently, a 2nd Siddha centre was set up in Vyasarpadi.

The new Vyasarpadi Siddha hospital was inaugurated by the State Minister for Tamil Development  Mafa Pandiyarajan. In the temporary corona treatment centre being set up temporarily in the Dr Ambedkar Arts Science College in Vyasarpadi which is located in Tondiarpet Zone, it has been announced that the corona-infected patients who do not require ventilators will be treated here.

Greater Chennai Corporation has informed that this new Siddha hospital has 224 beds facility and 10 Siddha doctors have been appointed.

State Minister Pandiyarajan, having a session with the press shared:

�Three tests will be taken for the patients admitted here. The patients will be /monitored thoroughly and tested/checked on the 1st, 7th, and 14th Days.

The food and treatment given in this hospital are free!�

In the Vyasarpadi Siddha Hospital, the corona-infected patients are given Kabasurakudineer, herbal vapour inhalation, and breathing exercises on a daily basis.
