An order has been issued to the newly appointed doctors to reach Chennai before 10.00 AM today (Tuesday, 9th June).
The Department of Health of the State Government of Tamil Nadu had earlier announced that 1550 doctors (graduates/postgraduates) from various areas of the state of Tamil Nadu are to be appointed fresh to be posted in Chennai. Now, an order has been issued on an emergency basis to these selected doctors to reach Chennai immediately before 10.00 AM today (Tuesday, 9th June).
980 doctors (graduates/postgraduates) have been appointed and posted in Chennai. It had been announced that these doctors are to stay in Chennai and provide treatments for 2 months.
These doctors have been appointed and posted in various government hospitals in Chennai and the State Government�s isolation wards.
