From Monday, all the government offices in TN to have 50% staffs

Fresh guidelines have been issued for the government offices now.
It is known that on Sunday, 17th May, third phase of Corona virus lock down would end. The government offices have been functioning with 33 percent staffs in the 3rd phase.
As per an order issued by Mr. K. Shanmugam, chief secretary, beginning from Monday, 18th May 2020, the government offices in TN would function with 50 percent of staffs. He threw light on how important government departments like universities etc would work on all Saturdays for clearing the backlog. Point is the government staffs would be divided into 2 batches and each batch would work for 2 consecutive days and then would return back to work after 2 days.
For all government offices from secretariat to the district level offices like corporations, welfare boards plus others like societies, universities etc this order would be applicable. Important point is this order would not be applicable for the containment zones
It was then brought out by a senior official that the third phase of the lock down would end on Sunday and new regulations and revised protocols for small industries, healthcare and local bodies were under revision.
There were back to back meetings at the Fort St George and meetings saw the presence of CM of TN Mr. E. Palaniswami, Mr. K. Shanmugam and other top officials. Review meetings were conducted and they heard expert opinions given by Covid Task Force and expert panel committees. The financial status of the TN state exchequer was also reviewed by the top brass.
