TTD explains: whether Darshans are cancelled at Tirupathi temple until 30th June

The Thirumalai Tirupathi Devasthanam Board (TTD) has appealed to the public not to give credence to the rumour that Darshan of Lord Venkateswara at the Tirupathi temple has been cancelled until 30th June.

As a preventive measure against the raging coronavirus pandemic, lockdown conditions have been imposed throughout the country from 25th March.

However, Darshan at the Tirupathi temple had been cancelled right from 20th March noon!

Despite this, the regular poojas and prayers and other related practices as per �Aagamas� (guideline) are being performed on the deities.

This is the 1st ever time in the history of the famous Tirupathi Lord Srinivasa temple that Darshans are being cancelled! As such, teeming devotees are eagerly waiting to have a Darshan of Lord Srinivasa and worship!

In this scenario, a news was doing the rounds that Darshans are being cancelled at the Tirupathi temple until 30th June.

TTD has protested against this! It has appealed to the devotees not togive credence to such rumours.

TTD has informed that a decision will be taken after the consultation/review meeting with the Endowment Board.
