New app launched - Postal services now at the door steps of Chennai customers

Postal services would be available at the door steps!! Sounds amazing!!
To enable the customers avail the postal services at their door steps in this lock down period, the postal department has now launched an mobile application.
It is said that a request needs to be raised on the Post info mobile app or by using Urgent Request for Post services- Doorstep service on India post website.
The customers could click on to request for any urgent service or can directly type the URL http://ccc.cept.gov.in/covid/request.aspx to request service. This has been mentioned in a release from the chief post master general belonging to TN circle.
All postal services like mails, post bank, savings bank, insurance, finance etc could be availed by the customers. The release added that after the successful completion of the request a unique reference number would be generated to enable him or her to track the status of the request.
