The crescent for commencing the Ramzan fasting schedule was seen/identified yesterday (Friday, 24th April).
So, the Chief Gaji of the Tamil Nadu State government, Mufti Mohammad Salauddin Ayub, has announced that the Ramzan fasting schedule will commence from today (Saturday, 25th April). Accordingly, Ramzan fasting commences today!
On the occasion of the Ramzan fasting session, a traditional special prayer known as �Thataveeh� will be performed in all mosques. However, as the lockdown is prevailing, the Islamic Leaders have appealed to the Muslims to conduct the prayers at their respective residences.
