Tamilnadu Police: Strict monitoring of movement of vehicle/public from tomorrow!

Despite all stringent protective measures taken against the raging spreading of the coronavirus pandemic, alarmingly, the number of infections over the last week has been increasing, leading to a worsening situation. As such, the police have decided to intensify their monitoring of vehicles even more strictly.
As such following conditions will be strictly imposed:
Just for 1 day tomorrow (Saturday, 25th April), apart from the vehicles with authorized government passes, medical staff, pharmacy staff, press staff other vehicles will not be allowed to move. More stringent actions are to pursue from Sunday, 26th April.
There is a strong possibility that vehicles may be seized and the violator arrested and penalty levied.
Riding on bikes/2-wheelers for the purchase of essential items will be strictly prohibited with the vehicles being seized. As such, please note that only pedestrians will be allowed to shop for essential items.
Stronger regulations are likely to be imposed from Sunday, 26th April!
