Arogyam scheme launched by TN CM for Kabasura Kudineer distribution

Improving the immunity of the people and keeping them healthy is very important at this time of Corona virus!!
For this, the state of TN would soon be distributing �Kabasura Kudinbeer� under the �Arogyam� scheme.
On Thursday, 23rd April 2020, the chief minister of TN, Mr. E. Palaniswamy launched Arogyam scheme for the sake of people.
The CM then distributed Nilavenbhu Kashayam and Kabasura Kudineer powders to the people. It is now revealed that 1 lakh packets of Kabasura Kudineer powder would be distributed to the people belonging to the containment zones in the city of Chennai. The important information collected is the state government has formed 11 member team consisting of medical experts from both private as well as government sectors. This also included Indian medicine practitioners. This has been done in the wake of rapid spread of Corona virus infection.
It must be taken into note that the team was given the work of suggesting various ways of preventing the spread and containment of Corona virus infection. Advice of AYUSH ministry was taken into consideration but the medical expert team and medicines in Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha and Homeopathy were suggested.
Later on, the expert committee asked the state government to distribute Kabasura Kudineer to the people. It was brought out by a statement from the government that after careful considerations of the recommendation of expert panel the CM of TN launched this new scheme for distributing Kabasura Kudineer. Siddha drink, Kabasura Kudineer is not a medicine to cure Covid-19 but it would help the people to fight Covid-19.
