This is regarding the restoration of the vehicles seized during the lockdown conditions to the respective owners.
The vehicles seized on 24th March can be taken back!
The documents presented by the vehicle owner will be scrutinized, checked, and verified from 7.00 AM to 12.30 PM daily,
Every 30 minutes, 10 owners will be given back their seized vehicles.
If required, the working hours may be extended until 1.00 PM.
Please note that it is MANDATORY TO OBSERVE SOCIAL DISTANCING while visiting to take back.
Seized vehicles will be given back from the respective police stations.
The details for taking back the seized vehicles will be sent as per the serial list of FIRs registered on 24th March and information will be sent to the owners specifying the place to visit to redeem the vehicle.
Once the person visits, the documents will be checked and the vehicle will be handed over.
The documents to be brought by the vehicle owners:
- Original and Xerox of the driving license
- Original and Xerox of the RC Book
