Supreme Court gives permission to Kudankulam Nuclear Power Plant Today

A bench of Justices Mr.K.S. Radhakrishnan and Mr. Dipak Misra approved the commissioning of the Controversial Kundankulam Nuclear Plant Today (06.05.2013). This is a great relief for the Central and the Tamil Nadu State Government. The Apex bench said that the Nuclear Power Plants are needed for the present and the future generations. Nuclear Power Corporation of India Ltd, has submitted that the plant is completely safe and can withstand any kind of Natural Disaster and External Terrorist Attacks.
