Applications invited Central governments educational finance assistance!

Applications are invited from Tamil Nadu students belonging to the backward communities, most-backyard communities (MBC) Ancient tribes, etc., studying in Central Government schools for the offer of scholarship financial assistance for education.
The state government of Tamil Nadu has ordered that educational financial assistance (scholarship) to the students belonging to Tamil Nadu and BC, MBC, SC/ST must be studying in institutes in the approved list of the central government such as IIT, IIM, NIT, and central universities doing graduate or postgraduate courses.
Their family annual incomes should not exceed Rs. 2 Lakhs. Each student will be given a scholarship of Rs. 2 Lakh per year.
Interested students can visit the office of the district backwards and minority welfare officer located in the Chennai Chepauk �Ezhilagam� building complex and obtain the applications.
Fill up the application form and submit the same in the relevant educational institution. These institutions have to forward the applications with recommendations before 28th February.as per the Government Order.
