Tamil Nadu students may apply for education assistance!

The State Government of Tamil Nadu has ordered that scholarship (Financial Assistance for education) exclusively to the students from Tamil who are presently studying in courses such as IIT, IIM, NIT in central government educational institutions and universities. Thus, these students can now apply to obtain this scholarship.
According to the above order, students (boys and girls) belonging to BC or MBC category will be offered a scholarship for Rs. 2 Lakhs.
The district administration officials informed that the applications may be submitted at the Officer of the District Department of Backward and minority community welfare, located in the district collector�s office complex.
