Household LPG cooking gas cylinder price up by Rs. 20

The price of the household LPG cooking gas cylinder has gone up by Rs. 20 this month from Rs. 714 to Rs. 734!

The Public Sector Oil concerns like Indian Oil, Bharath and Hindustan Petroleum supply the LPG cooking gas cylinders - 14.2 kg cylinders for households and 19 kg cylinders for traders/commercial users.

The price of the LPG cooking gas cylinder is based on the fluctuating crude oil price in the international market. In Tamil Nadu, during the month of December, the household LPG cooking gas cylinder was sold at Rs. 714.

Now, with the advent of the New Year/January, the price has gone up by Rs. 20 and now costs Rs. 734. Once the cylinder is bought at this price, the central government’s subsidy will be credited to the buyer’s bank savings account.

The price of the household LPG cooking gas cylinder in Delhi is Rs. 714. In Maharashtra, it is Rs. 684.50. In West Bengal, it is Rs. 747.

In Tamil Nadu, the price of the LPG cooking Gas cylinders for the traders was sold at Rs. 1333 in December. In January, it has gone up by Rs. 30 and it is now being sold at Rs. 1363.
