State Election Commission - if not having Voter ID, 11 other identities will help vote!

The Tamil Nadu State Election Commission has ordered that the voters who do not have Voter IDs can present any of 11 other identity proofs and vote in the local elections.
Local elections are scheduled to be conducted in Tamil Nadu on 27th and 30th December in the local panchayat elections only in 27 districts.
Voters who do not have voter IDs can show any of the other 11 Identity proofs- gate-pass IDs, Driving Licence, Employees� ID with photograph given by the central/state government organisations, Savings Bank/Post Office saving Passbooks, Smartcard given by the Indian Chief Registrar in the Census registration, 100 days� work ID card, Medical Insurance card given under the Ministry of Employees� Welfare, Pension document Voter Photograph chit, and MLA/MP identity.
