This Chennai School had a world famous sports personality recently, Guess who?

It is not always Chennai schools get to see famous Indian sports personalities in their campuses. Recently, one such meeting took place in a school in Chennai and it was spoken highly by many.
In Mogappair in Chennai is present Velammal Matriculation Higher Secondary School. On Thursday, this school had one highly popular sports person in the campus. Indian champion shuttler and Olympic silver medal winner, P.V. Sindhu was that special guest and she felicitated sports achievers and awarded scholarships worth Rs 60 lakhs to students belonging to this school.
Ace shuttler, Sindhu expressed her thoughts and spoke about how badminton was her passion and how she started playing the game from the age of eight. She later revealed the reason why she was standing at the school before the students.
The point is she sacrificed a lot for badminton to achieve her goal and due to that she became famous. It is superb to note that Sindhu is a world champion today and India must feel happy and proud for that. It is important to mention that Sindhu congratulated achievers in several disciplines of sports at both national as well as international arena, all-rounders of the school and academic toppers.
The audience cheered her loudly when Sindhu mentioned about winning and losing matches. She made it clear that winning and losing doesn’t matter but moving towards a goal is very important. The point here is winning and losing are part and parcel of life.
It is superb to mention that Sindhu had great respect for her parents. She spoke about how her parents stood by her in both happy moments as well in the sad moments. She later shed light on how her dad (volleyball player and Arjuna award winner) was her role model. Superb information is the school management presented Sindhu a cheque of Rs 15 lakhs for her many achievements for all these years.
