Tamil Nadu Government has informed all colleges to reopen on Wednesday. The news comes almost 15 days after colleges were closed indefinitely following the students� hunger strike in the Sri Lankan issue. Colleges were expected to open on Monday, and some of the colleges did.
Anna University sent out a circular to self-financing engineering colleges that stated, �The vice-chancellor after having discussions with the government of Tamil Nadu, has decided to reopen undergraduate and postgraduate classes of all engineering colleges in the state on April 3.� The colleges include Madras Institute of Technology, AC Tech, Guindy College of Engineering and School of Architecture and Planning.
