Electricity bill payment centres will function today (Saturday, 9th Feb)

The section offices and all the electricity bill payment centres of TANGEDCO will function today (Saturday, 9th February). TANGEDCO has 3000 Section Offices. In most of these Section Offices, bill payment counters function.
The 2nd and 4th Saturdays of the month are holidays for the above offices. During the occasion of Pongal, the state government of Tamil Nadu had declared a holiday on 14th January. Hence, TANGEDCO offices did not function on 14th January. Instead, to compensate for the same, the TANGEDCO Offices will function today though it is the 2nd Saturday in February. So, consumers can pay their electricity bills today.
