Now Amma drinking water to be served in the TN express buses

The sales of Amma drinking water has commenced in the Government Express Buses. The public/passenger has welcomed this in a huge manner!
State Express Transport Corporation has been operating in different routes over a distance of 400 km.
Some of the buses have facilities like berths, seats, air-conditioning, etc. A few buses have toilet facility as well. Other buses will stop near a hotel after covering a distance of 100 km. However, the fares for the food items, drinking water, and toilet usage will be 3 times costlier.
There are malpractices such as low-quality items sticking them with high-quality brand stickers. Low-quality drinking water is also sold at a higher price. Thus, the women, the senior citizens, and children are subjected to hardship for want of drinking water.
In this situation, the sales of �Amma� drinking water bottles has commenced in the Tamil Nadu Express buses. As a drinking water bottle of 1 litre costs Rs.10, it has met with a huge popular response.
The director of the State Express Transport Corporation shared: �Meeting the customers� requests/demands, the sales of Amma drinking water is commenced in our express buses. It is hugely popular. Plans are afoot to introduce this facility in all other buses as well in a gradual manner.�
