A new substation to be set up in Velachery

During the �Question Hour� Session in the Legislative Assembly today, Vagai Chandrasekhar, MLA, DMK, demanded that a new electricity substation should be set up in Velachery.
Minister Thangamani responded:
"1600 new substations have been set up in Tamil Nadu. �Presently, the task of laying underground cables is in progress in Velacherry. The MLA has now put up this request. So, this issue will be taken up, A detailed review will be made after collecting the related details and the possibility of setting up a substation in Velacherry will be explored."
