Bank Employees to go on strike protesting against the merger of 3 banks

The Federation of all Bank employees; Unions/Associations has informed that the bank employees plan to go on strike on 26th December as a protest against the proposed merger of 3 banks.
The federation has objected to the proposal on the merger of 3 banks �Dena Bank, Vijaya Bank, and Bank of Baroda. A decision was taken during a recent meeting conducted in Mumbai to observe a 1-day strike on 26th December as a protest against the central government�s proposal regarding this merger proposal.
This information was released by the General Secretary of the All India Bank Employees Association, Venkatachalam, who is an important functionary in the above Federation.
