Tripura Elections Update

Forecasts for the Tripura elections say that the ruling CPI(M) will win for the 5th consecutive time. Reports say that the party is leading in 35 of the State�s 60 seats. The Congress is the second leading in 5 seats only.
TPCC President Sudip Ray Barman is leading in Agartala while CPI(M) leaders Jitendra Chowdhury, Anil Sarkar and Badal Chowdhury are leading in Manu, Pratapgarh and Hrishyamukh respectively.
