K Nagendran, who formed GBS system & services, who is today a successful entrepreneur in Chennai.
Early Days:
Nagendran did his schooling from Regunathapuram at Ramnad district. As his word �I was much interested in opting a career in mathematics because of my beloved Maths teacher who inspired me to take mathematics honors. And so I went for a Bachelors degree in mathematics from Yadava college at Madurai.�
Beginning stage - career:
Speaking on the initial days, he says �At first I was working in an software company. Soon after I realized that I should start my own business through which I can get self satisfaction, if I was an employee i can�t take my family to next level who are from village. I also thought that I could give employment to deserved people.�
Starting his career in 1994, he faced many challenges initially.
�Yes of course everyone has their own share of challenges and obstacles and I too had some of them, but I never backed off from those challenges. Instead, I faced them with my positive attitude and self confidence,�
The First �Sale�:
Recalling his first sale to his first customer, GBS Nagendran says,� I will never be as happy and excited by selling even 1,000 computers as I was when I sold my first desktop to my first customer Anitha Mathew, for Rs 32,000. it took me almost two days to assemble the computer.�
Success Mantra:
With many branches in Chennai, now we step into Karnataka, and plans to start more in south India region, GBS Nagendran aims to take the retail concept to a next level. Currently he have Lenovo, hp, dell, acer authorised exclusive partner in India. Who is only having this top brand authorisation in India. He said
�If you ask me my top six reasons for success thy would be, I always set priority according to my employees, I never give up until I accomplish the task I pursue, I never blend my personal life with my business, I spend lot of time thinking about my business and make a to-do-list and work upon it, develop and maintain cordial relationship with customers and the vendors and I earn confidence through my correct decision and gain experience and lesson from my mistakes,�

Advice to Budding Entrepreneurs:
�I always advice the young people not to work for less than what you can afford to and to make their surroundings with supportive people and don�t be discouraged by anyone. Always have strong line of difference between your work and personal life, and also plan for some �thinking-time� into everyday life,�
The dream doesn�t come true until you do.....!
Family:
GBS Nadendran�s comes from a small and a happy family consisting his father, wife, daughter and a son. �My family is in Chennai and my wife is a home maker. Both my children are studying. My daughter Niveda is a carnatic singer and a dancer too. My son Nisanth is good at tennis and has won many awards,� shares the man.

1996-1997: GBS opened a showroom in KK Nagar
1998-1999: A Renovated showroom at KK Nagar with desktop service
