Prospects of heavy rains in coastal districts
Because of the cyclonic formation in the upper layers of the atmosphere developed over the Bay of Bengal, it rained in several places. It rained in a few places in the northern districts as well.
As the above cyclonic formation has intensified further, there are prospects of heavy rain in the coastal districts in a few places in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. There would be wide-spread rain in other places. It may rain with thunder in a few places.
The Chennai Metro City will remain cloudy. There are prospects of rain with thunder during the evening or during the night sessions.
