CBSE exam pattern likely to change

The paper pattern for class 10 and 12 are likely to get changed, as the CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) is planning to do so. Reports pertaining to this sate that the possibilities of implementing a change in paper pattern is being assessed by the CBSE. The intention is to make the exams even more conceptual.
There are ideas to conduct vocational exams during February month. Exams for the main subjects will be held in March month.
This initiative is to follow the expression of opinion by Mr. Prakash Javadekar, the Human Resource Development Minister. He aims to eradicate rote learning methods.
Furthermore, the renewed system will also have simplified formalities for affiliation and renewal procedures of schools. So far, there is no decision being made as far as the change in exam pattern is concerned, say HRD ministry officials.
