Singing and dancing not moral says mufti of Kashmir

�Pragaash�, Kashmir�s first all-girl band, has come under severe criticism and reprimands as Muslim outfits in the State demand that they band be disbanded.Kashmir�s Chief Minister, Mr. Omar Abdullah, has asked the band to continue with their work and �not listen to a bunch of morons�.
According to Mufti Bashir-ud-Din, grand mufti of Kashmir, �Singing and playing instruments never develop a society but are the first step towards demolishing its moral fabric. I am happy that the new generation has attained a pro-development and pro-religion stance but there are some girls treading on the path of destruction. (The girls� parents should) rope-in their children towards the teachings of Islam.�
