North Chennai slightly cleaner after arrests

Chennai Police have caught 28 offenders in night raids on Saturday. Those arrested include Sathish Kumar and Chandru for murder, Ramesh of SM Nagar, Radha alias Anandan for drug peddling and Kumar of Kodungaiyur.
The raids were conducted in North Chennai after six murders that have shocked residents. Other offences included smuggling of PDS rations, illicit liquor and piracy.
