Malala�s surgeries successful, say doctors

Teenage Pakistani activist, Malala Yousafzai, had two successful surgeries on Sunday. Ms. Yousafzai was shot in point blank range by the Taliban for demanding education for girls.
Doctors at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Manchester performed a cranial surgery and a cochlear implant. A titanium implant in a shape of the girl�s skull has been attached. Earlier, the doctors said that it will take the patient at least 15-18 months to feel normal again.
