Railway introduces Madad App

IRCTC has introduced a new multi-featured App focusing on the passenger safety and attending the passengers complaints immediately.

The railway passengers can now avail of various services through the Mobile Apps including the procurement of train tickets for both reserved and unreserved trains, selection of food, etc.

An official from the Salem Railway Division explained in this regard that with the recently introduced App ‘MADAD’, the passengers can make complaints during their travel or while waiting in the railway station regarding the infrastructure, hygiene or cleanliness, and the catering system.

The complaints received as per above usage of the MADAD App will be informed to the concerned authorities and this will be confirmed through SMS. Further, the detail regarding action taken will be immediately sent to the complainant.

MADAD App will contain the details of the contact telephone numbers of the various railway departments including the RPF (Railway Protection Force). So, complaints regarding the passenger safety can also be made through this App.
