Posters of Alagiri not appreciated by DMK

The DMK is unhappy with posters of Union Minister Mr. M.K. Alagiri being pasted across the city to celebrate his birthday that falls today. An official statement says, �Inappropriate words have cropped up which bring bad name to the party...strict action would be taken against those responsible for such acts.�
The competition between Mr. Alagiri and his brother Mr. M.K. Stalin has been apparent all along. When DMK chief and their father, Mr. M. Karunanidhi announced that his heir would be Mr. Stalin, Mr. Alagiri said that the party is not a �mutt� which appoints its successors.
