Storm signal - warning cones set up in ports
A low-pressure zone has formed over the Bay of Bengal near Bangladesh. As this low-pressure zone is likely to intensify and transform into a strong depression zone, the Indian Weather Bureau has advised and warned the fishermen not to venture into the sea/ocean for fishing.
Storm-warning cone signals have been set up yesterday (11th June) in the ports of Cuddalore, Puducherry, and Karaikkal to indicate the development of storm format at a distance.
