New training centres for VAOs

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, Selvi J. Jayalalitha, has ordered 118 training centres to be set up for aspiring VAOs (Village Administrative Officers). In light of the VAO examinations, where more than 4,000 aspirants will appear, these training centres will be built in all districts, according to an official press release.
The Government has announced a fund of Rs. 1 lakh crore to maintain these centres.
