Namma Chennai app has received nearly 3000 complaints now

It was in the month of January in 2018 Namma Chennai app belonging to Chennai Corporation was launched. This app has been making huge noises since then.
The recent news about this Namma Chennai app is in just four months of time the Corporation had received 2977 complaints through this app.
By means of this amazing app, the residents of Chennai have been able to voice their concerns and many issues such as pavements, abandoned cars and poor lighting have been brought to the notice of the civic officials.
Mr. Balaji who belongs to Mandaveli expressed his views about the Namma Chennai app of Chennai Corporation. He spoke about how potholes present in the street were brought to the notice of civic officials and how the problem was attended very fast by the officials. Road laying and mosquito menace were other issues and complaints were given by Mr. Balaji using this app.
There were also few complaints from the residents regarding their complaints being closed online and not resolved.
A resident belonging to Vadapalani, D. Rekha spoke about how after receiving the complaint the civic officials did well in fixing the street lights in 2 days of time.
She later threw light on the fact that the official concerned was keen on closing the complaint with resolved status rather than attending to that issue.
