Temperature in Karur, Trichy, Erode, Namakkal, Salem and Vellore region will continue to be above 40 degrees Celsius today.
Yesterday Karur recorded 41.5 C followed by Trichy at 41 degrees Celsius and Tiruttani at 40.3 degrees Celsius. Today the same regions will continue to sizzle. Chennai will be comparatively having lesser temperature at 35-36 degrees Celsius at the City and 37-38 degrees Celsius at Airport
Rains to concentrate in Western Belt districts of Tamil Nadu
Nilgiris, Valparai belt in Coimbatore, Krishnagiri belt, Sathyamangalam in Erode belt, Kulasekaram-Thiruvattur-Pechiparai belt and surrounding area in Kanyakumari belt will all get rains.
