5% Concession implemented for train tickets booked at railway ticket counters

The Railways offer of 5% concession in the train tickets for tickets booked in the Railway Station booking counters with digital payment came into effect from yesterday (Monday, 2nd April).
This scheme will be available on a trial basis for 3 months.
The concession can be availed only while booking the train tickets at the station counters on the digital transaction.
The concession can be availed only if the ticket fare exceeds Rs. 100.
The maximum concession to be availed is Rs. 50.
However, please note that this concession will not be applicable to the passengers who buy monthly season tickets or the passengers who book train tickets online.
