Chennai police impose Section 144 at Mylapore Kabhaleeswarar temple

Periyar political party members Thandhai Periyar Dravida Kazhagam (T.P.D.K) has tried to enter voluntarily into the Shrine of Sri Kapaleeshwarar temple at Mylapore in Chennai by today morning.
Their demand is to make all the class and cast people to be the Priests of the temple. by the announcement some T.P.D.K members have been arrested and kept in jail.
Whereas the Barathiya Janatha party counter parted the announcement of T.P.D.K to withdraw their decision and they told that if they try to demolish the temple orders or any rules followed by the temple authorities which is very vast in cultural and religious heritaged they will be their primary concerns and they also start protest against TPDK party.
By today morning some TPDK party members tried to enter into the shrine and sum of 200 were arrested. and Police announced 144 point barrier inside temple premises.
