Rains to persist in Tamil Nadu due to cyclonic format
The Chennai Meteorological Centre has informed that due to the cyclonic format developed in the upper layers of the atmosphere, the rain will persist for a few more days in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.
The Chennai Meteorological Centre officials explained that there is a cyclonic format developed in the upper layers of the atmosphere over the state of Odisha and a depression zone has also formed. Because of this, there will be rains in several places in North Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. There may be rains in a few places in South Tamil Nadu.
The Chennai Metro City will remain cloudy. There are prospects of rain in the evening or night.
