TN coast faces threat from building storm

Tamil Nadu coast is facing a threat from a monsoon depression located 700 km south east of Chennai on Sunday.
A weather warning from the IMD said that heavy rainfall would break out over Tamil Nadu and Kerala on Monday and Tuesday.
Thundershowers have been forecast at many places over south India.
HEAVY RAINFALL WARNING:
Isolated heavy to very heavy rain would occur over Coastal Tamil Nadu and Puducherry during the next 48 hours. Isolated heavy rain may occur over Interior Tamil Nadu during the same period.
FORECAST FOR CHENNAI CITY AND NEIGHBOURHOOD:
For next 24 hours: The sky conditions would be generally cloudy. One or two spells of rain or thundershower would occur. Surface winds will be strong and gusty at times. Maximum and minimum temperature would be around 30 and 26 degree Celsius respectively.
For next 48 hours: The sky conditions would be generally cloudy. Few spells of rain or thundershower would occur. Surface winds will be strong and gusty at times. Maximum and minimum temperature would be around 29 and 20 degree Celsius respectively.
