Chennai city temperature crosses 40 degree Celsius for 1st time this year.

The dry North westerlies have made sure that the Chennai Temperature crossed 40 degree Celsius for 1st time since 28th May last year. This year the highest temp till date was 39.7 degree Celsius recorded on 16th April. Things are going to only get worse in coming days.
