Transport corporations employees unions: certain to strike work

The talks between the representatives of the transport corporation employees union with the state minister M. R. Vijayabhaskar failed. The unions have been pressing for various demands, including the payment of 13th wages agreement.

Following this, the transport corporation employees from various districts went on demonstration.

The strike started in several districts including Trichy, Madurai, Coimbatore, and Virudhunagar.

The transport employees have closed the workshops.

Because of this, the bus services were greatly disrupted.

The administrators of the union went to the minister to hand over the letter that the strike has started. The minister refused to receive this letter and invited them for another round of talks. So, another round of talks was conducted.

Subsequently, a team of union administrators met the press reporters.

They explained that they had prolonged discussion with the ministerVijayabhaskar regarding the salary. Pension, etc. The minister did not respond to our demands. As he promised payment of only one part of the loan, the unions are not ready to give up the strike.

So, the strike will continue as per the plan. The government only has to bear the losses incurred by the transport corporations due to the strike.

All employees will participate in the strike. Anna Employees Union administrators w will also participate in the strike.
